Bijie, a city in southwest China's Guizhou Province, is now welcoming all residents in Guangdong to take a trip there.
On June 14, a culture and tourism promotion conference for Bijie took place in Guangzhou, and travel agencies from the two cities signed framework cooperation agreements. Rao Ping, director of Bijie Municipal Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism Bureau, introduced their picturesque landscapes and colorful culture and sent out an invitation to tourists from Guangdong and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

With an average temperature of 21 degrees Celsius in summer as well as a high concentration of negative ions and a forest coverage rate of 60 percent, Bijie is an ideal city to escape the summer heat. The city is adorned with seas of flowers, including the azalea flowers in spring, wild tuberose in summer, and leek flowers in autumn.

Meanwhile, 46 ethnic groups, including the Miao, Yi, Buyi, and Hui, have lived together on this land for thousands of years, creating colorful ethnic cultures represented by Miao embroidery, batik, Torch Festival of the Yi, and Flower-Jumping Festival of the Miao.
