The province will provide a unique festive experience for visitors with a diverse array of celebrations covering traditional customs, artistic performances, intangible cultural heritage experiences, fireworks displays, lantern exhibitions, and the like.
To bring people a joyful vibe of Chinese New Year, Guangdong will host various themed events, such as dragon dance parades, flower street tours, theatrical performances, amusement park visits, beach entertainment, folk customs appreciation, culinary experiences, sun enjoyment, and hot spring relaxation.

In 2024, the province also plans to take a series of measures to boost cultural and tourism activities. People will be treated to year-round subsidies for cultural and tourism consumption, rural tourism products, water-based travel routes and themed activities, the 5th Intangible Cultural Heritage Shopping Festival, 1000 performances by provincial and municipal artistic troupes in scenic areas, as well as consumption promotion activities with a focus on local cuisine.
Furthermore, China Southern Airlines will provide two million discount coupons (air tickets) for visitors to Guangdong, and A-grade tourist attractions, provincial-level and above tourist resorts will offer two million discounted, bundled, and complimentary tickets. Numerous star-rated hotels and homestays in Guangdong will also offer consumer subsidies to enrich overall travel experiences.
