Tree Climbing Marathon to be held in Guangzhou

Have you ever heard of "tree climbing marathon"? Do you want to be a "gibbon" overlooking the city from the top of a tree? Come to the South China National Botanical Garden for the Tree Climbing Marathon on December 25!

Tree climbing is not just climbing trees with bare hands, but using professional climbing ropes and other tools to climb thick and tall trees with various professional postures. Tree climbing originated in the United States in the 1980s, and now it has become an internationally popular sport, with fans from Europe, North America, Asia and other parts of the world. The world's largest tree climbing competition, ITCC (World Tree Climbing Championship), gathers a large number of top tree climbing enthusiasts and tree researchers from all over the world every year.

Although this sport is not that well known, it is widely used in production and life. For example, in gardening, tree climbing can be used to deal with insects and broken branches in some high places. Proper tree climbing activities will not harm trees, but protect them. This sport will strengthen your body, make you feel relaxed in nature, improve your survival skills, and also enhances your understanding of nature and trees.

If you don't know how to climb trees, don't worry, everyone is welcome to watch this wonderful event as a spectator. In addition, it is also recommended to stroll around the South China National Botanical Garden and relax in the natural beauty.
