This summer holiday, Guangzhou will issue over 300,000 vouchers worth 30 million RMB to tourists to boost tourism and cultural consumption. The consumption vouchers will be issued in three batches, with each voucher worth 25 to 500 RMB in discounts. The first batch, with a total value of 10 million RMB, will be available at 8pm tonight (July 22). Don’t miss out.
These vouchers are available both online and offline. You can log onto the UnionPay APP (云闪付APP), find the “Guangzhou Culture and Tourism Voucher” (广州文旅消费券) section, and get a variety of vouchers on a first-come, first-served basis. Online vouchers are valid for 14 days.
Alternatively, you can get vouchers in the designated venues after you meet certain conditions. Offline vouchers can be used right then and there once you get them.
The vouchers can be used to purchase tickets to scenic spots, exhibitions, performances and so on, travel routes, hotel services, books, souvenirs, cultural and creative products, etc. You can check out the participating outlets in the voucher section on the UnionPay APP.
