Indonesian exhibitor eyes more partnership through growing presence at Canton Fair

"This is our second time opening a booth at the Canton Fair. We have a bigger booth in the main area, and many people come to us, not only the buyers but also the exhibitors. This is very exciting for us," said Vincent Mintarja Rijadi, an exhibitor from Indonesia, at the 135th Canton Fair.

Vincent is the product manager of KRISBOW, a business brand under the Kawan Lama Group. Occupying a booth located in Area B - Hall 9.2 with a very attractive design, Krisbow presents more than 700 types of products in 27 categories, including safety, hand & power tools, cleaning, abrasive, and others.

This time around, the company has a bigger booth in the main area, which enables them to attract more attention from global buyers.

In this year's Canton Fair, he has talked to many buyers from other countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Iraq, Tanzania, Thailand, Brunei, and Malaysia.

"This time, our clients are mostly from the Middle East, many are Africans, and some are from the ASEAN countries. And we really hope to attract more customers from the Middle East and get access to exporting to other countries," he said.

The Kawan Lama Group has been attending the Canton Fair since 1995. In recent years, the Group has been not only buying products but also purchasing other services at the fair. It also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guangzhou Light Holdings Limited (GZLI) on April 17.

According to Zhu Puzhen, deputy chairman of the board of GZLI, as one of the ASEAN countries, Indonesia boasts a vast market and huge development potential. "Through the strategic cooperation with Kawan Lama Group, we can give full play to our own advantages to promote bilateral trade and achieve win-win outcomes."
