At noon on April 10, the "mobile supermarket" in Zoumagang community started operation. It is the first mobile supermarket in the areas under COVID-19 control, providing fresh vegetables, meat and eggs, as well as oil, milk, paper towels and other daily necessities.
More such supermarkets were seen in the areas under COVID-19 control in these few days in Sanyuanli Subdistrict, Baiyun District.
Residents can place orders for the goods they need in the WeChat group one day in advance, and the goods will be delivered from the supermarket's warehouse center to the "mobile supermarket" the next day. Residents only need to collect their things there regularly.

Guangzhou Municipal Government has activated emergency protection, increased market supply to ensure the needs of local residents, and stabilized the price of goods in the retail market.
By April 12, the retail prices of food such as rice, flour, oil, and pork were roughly the same as before the pandemic, except for 2.8% and 7.5% price increases of vegetables and eggs respectively due to high demand, according to Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
