A glimpse of Guangzhou’s makeshift hospital for COVID-19 treatment

Recently, all provinces in China are required to prepare two to three makeshift hospitals for COVID-19 prevention. Guangzhou is currently building a makeshift hospital at the Pazhou exhibition center in Haizhu District, Guangzhou

The makeshift hospital in Guangzhou is built from 5 pavilions of the Pazhou exhibition center. More than 1,500 workers have been involved in the 24-hour a day construction project which started on April 9. At present, a pavilion has been basically formed, and it is expected to be fully completed and put into use within a week.
