Guangdong's industrial chain, policies and services have been developed after years of development. Now, Guangdong is promoting high-quality development, which is a very good opportunity for overseas Chinese entrepreneurs, said Steven Lin, President of the Liaison Association of Chaozhou Nationals in Africa, President of Shenzhen Deyatang Industrial Group Co., Ltd, when sharing with GDToday during the Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Investment (Guangdong) Conference opened in Guangzhou on February 25.
Lin felt excited about Guangdong's supporting policies for overseas Chinese entrepreneurs revealed during the conference. He looked forward to taking advantage of the opportunity of high-quality development in Guangdong, calling on more overseas Chinese entrepreneurs to visit and invest more in the province.
Lin went to South Africa for business since 2001 and is engaged in energy and mineral industry. In 2008, he was elected as the President of the Liaison Association of Chaozhou Nationals in Africa, which currently has about 4000 members.
Over the years, Lin has frequently traveled between China and South Africa and aims to establish more cooperation platforms, among which Guangzhou is an important stop.
"I also invest in a nonferrous metal bulk commodity enterprise with an annual income of more than 10 billion RMB in Huangpu District, with essential support from the local government," said Lin and he is confident to develop better in Guangdong.
Guangdong's open economy allows overseas Chinese entrepreneurs to participate in many fields of the construction of China. Lin also praised the conference for providing an important platform for overseas Chinese entrepreneurs to know more about Guangdong's latest development, and he will keep promoting Guangdong as well as China to the outside world.
