New customs service launched to deepen cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong

On February 1, the "single submission" service, a new customs declaration service for Guangdong and Hong Kong cargo, was officially put into operation.

Relying on the China (Guangdong) International Trade Single Window platform, this service has been launched as a new customs clearance measure under the framework of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

It allows Chinese mainland businesses to make just one declaration and reduces the required information items from nine to zero for Hong Kong companies, greatly improving work efficiency and lowering customs clearance time and costs.

This initiative aims to facilitate smoother trade between Guangdong and Hong Kong and promote customs clearance data sharing between enterprises in the two regions.

In the future, Guangdong and Hong Kong will further expand the coverage of this new customs clearance service, contributing to the development of a world-class GBA and its city clusters.
