On October 12, Clariant’s new production site for halogen-free high performance Exolit® flame retardants officially opened in Daya Bay, Huizhou. For Clariant, China is a very strategic market. In the last two to three years, it has invested more than 320 million USD in China. GD Today’s Fanny explored the new plant in Huizhou Daya Bay Petrochemical Industrial Park and talked with Clariant’s senior executives as the company seeks further investment in Daya Bay and expansion in the Chinese market.
