Guangdong has recently released Guangdong’s Implementation Plan to Reform the Title Evaluation for Health Professionals.
The Plan proposes to establish a coordinated, open evaluation system for health professionals in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Who can join?
These health professionals who currently practice in Guangdong:
1. Health professionals from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
2. Foreign talent with permanent residence status or an overseas talent residence permit.
They can now participate in Guangdong’s medical examinations and assessments, in accordance with local guidelines concerning the application procedures and the criteria for evaluation.
According to the Implementation Plan, the title evaluation committees at all levels in Guangdong are now authorized to take exploratory steps in title appraisal for high-level health professionals originally from outside the Chinese mainland, including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
