Recently, Guangzhou Education Bureau and Education and Youth Development Bureau of Government of the Macao SAR signed an agreement to strengthen cooperation in higher education, vocational education, basic education and youth exchanges.
The signing ceremony of the agreement was signed via online video. Chen Shuang, director of the Guangzhou Education Bureau, said that the signing marked a closer cooperative relationship between the two cities. Guangzhou hopes that the education departments of the two cities could complement each other's advantages and achieve a win-win cooperation.
Gong Zhiming, director of the Education and Youth Development Bureau of Government of the Macao SAR, hoped that the agreement would help the two cities carry out more in-depth educational exchanges. He also said they wanted to learn from Guangzhou's experience to promote the development of smart education in Macao.
The education departments of Guangzhou and Macao held a working meeting after the signing, discussing topics as informatization of teaching and research, college admission promotion, vocational and technical education, young teacher and researcher exchange, student exchange. These collaborative projects will be carried out in the next phrase.
