China Southern Airlines Flight CZ312 Toronto-Guangzhou landed smoothly at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 00:16 on January 8. 

The passengers of this flight were the first batch of inbound travelers that didn't need to conduct nucleic acid testing and entry quarantine measures since the outbreak three years ago.

"I'm so happy I don't have to be quarantined anymore. I booked a flight back to China as soon as I heard the news. After three years, I can finally go home happy," a passenger surnamed Gong cheered.

Along with the passengers came the flight crew members on duty. They don't need centralized quarantine, which was the first time since the outbreak.

According to the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, On January 8, Baiyun Airport will welcome 14 inbound flights from Toronto in Canada, New York in the US, Dubai in UAE, Doha in Qatar, Seoul in KOR, Jakarta in Indonesia, and other cities. It is estimated that more than 2,000 inbound passengers will arrive throughout the day.

All inbound and outbound passenger flights moved to Terminal 2 from midnight on January 8. Outbound passengers can go to check-in areas K, M, N, P, and Q. China Southern Airlines is at check-in areas P and Q.
