Scheduled every week, this route has four container vessels with a capacity of 2,000 TEUs, or 'twenty-foot equivalent' units. And the port of call is sequenced as follows: Shantou, Hong Kong, Shekou, Kalai, Laem Chabang, Kalai, Da Nang, Shekou, Xiamen, Tokyo, Yokohama, and Shanghai.

The opening of this direct route will enable the exported goods from the Chaoshan area to be transported directly to the ports in Thailand through the Guang’ao Port Area. And the foreign trade container liner route network of the Guang’ao Port area now covers major ports in Southeast Asia.

Since the beginning of this year, Guang’ao Port Area has added four new foreign trade container liner routes. So far, the total number of these routes has reached 19.
