On January 10, flight CZ8065 from Guangzhou to Istanbul, one of the biggest cities in Türkiye, departed from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

It is China Southern Airlines' first direct flight from Guangzhou to Turkey, and China’s second direct round-trip route to Türkiye, following the airline’s flight from Wuhan to Istanbul.

This international flight will be operated by Boeing 787 every Tuesday and Saturday.

According to the airline’s staff, there are ten check-in counters, and carry-on luggage size limits will be notified in advance to maximize travel efficiency. There are also priority boarding lanes for the elderly, infants and other passengers with special service needs.

In addition, hot meals and hot drinks are provided on flight CZ8065. The in-flight meal service will soon return to how it was before the pandemic.
