On November 28, the main line of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link was connected.
The construction of the Link is expected to be completed by 2024. By then, the traveling time from Zhongshan to Shenzhen will be cut from the current two hours to within 30 minutes.
With a design speed of 100 km/h, the Link is a grand and complex project stretching for 24 kilometers and consists of two artificial islands, two high-level bridges, a causeway, and an immersed tunnel.
