At the same time, several countries have extended the validation time for visas in a move to attract more overseas travelers.
The validation time of the K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) has been extended to 3 years, according to the ROK authority, while that of the Vietnam E-visa will be extended to 90 days, which is expected to boost local tourism amid the peak tourist season.
According to the latest data, the first half of 2023 witnessed more than 28 million passenger throughput at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, ranking first among all the domestic airports.
