After heavy downpours caused widespread flight delays at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, the Airport has lifted the emergency response as of 4:43 am on April 28.
According to the airport authorities, a total of 1,170 flights are scheduled today (April 28), including 573 outbound flights and 597 inbound flights.
Together with the Air Traffic Management Bureau, different airlines, and other on-site establishments, Baiyun Airport has properly handled flight delays and ensured steady operation in an orderly manner.
Weather forecast shows that there will be thunderstorms with different severity levels at airports of destinations including Xiamen, Fuzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Hefei, and Ningbo.
