On September 13, the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin opened two new demonstration autonomous driving routes: the Hengqin Port-Hengqin Civic Center Route and the Xiangyun Road Parking Lot-Government Service Center Shuttle Route. With the addition of these demonstration routes and road connections, the Cooperation Zone now offers more development opportunities for autonomous driving applications and technological innovation.

Route One: Hengqin Port - Hengqin Civic Center
Pick-up and drop-off spots at Hengqin Port:
Pick-up spot: South Arrival Platform at Hengqin Port (L2, arrival in Hengqin)
Drop-off spot: North Departure Platform at Hengqin Port (L1, towards Macao)
Operational hours: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. The first bus departs at 9:00 a.m., and the last bus departs at 5:00 p.m.
Stations and estimated arrival time: The entire route is approximately 10 kilometers long, and the one-way journey is estimated to take 20 minutes.
Route Two: Xiangyun Road Parking Lot - Government Service Center Shuttle
To meet the parking needs of residents from Hengqin and Macao when they visit the Government Service Center, the Xiangyun Road Parking Lot has undergone upgrades and renovations. In order to make it easier for locals to travel the last mile from the Xiangyun Road Parking Lot to the Government Service Center, a dedicated autonomous vehicle shuttle route has been set up in the parking lot.
Stations: Xiangyun Road Parking Lot, Main Building (west), Main Building (east), Government Service Center, Civic Center
Operational hours: 8:50 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. The first departure is at 8:50 a.m., and the last departure is at 5:15 p.m. Buses depart every 10 minutes or when they reach full capacity. The entire route is approximately 2.3 kilometers long, with an estimated travel time of 10 minutes.
