Recently, the first China-Europe freight train "Youth" of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area departed from the Zengcheng Railway Logistics Park in Guangzhou, and will arrive in Vorsino, Russia in 16 days.
It is loaded with 110 standard containers, carrying 613 tons of household appliances, textiles and clothing manufactured by Guangdong enterprises.
Every week, five to seven China-Europe freight trains and one to two China-Laos freight trains will depart from the Logistics Park, carrying over a hundred varieties of goods.
Up to now, 486 China-Europe freight trains have departed from the Logistics Park, providing transportation services to more than 5,000 foreign trade enterprises in 18 cities of 11 countries.
So far, products made in China and Guangdong specifically, worth about 13 billion RMB, have been transported from the Pearl River Delta to countries and regions along the Belt and Road Initiative routes.
