It has considerably improved the construction of scientific research, technical extension, and farmer education and training systems. China now enjoys a well-equipped platform for science and technology innovation. The contribution of science and technology progress to agriculture development will exceed 60% by the end of China’s 13th Five-year Plan. Rural development is expected to reach 64% by 2025,” said Carlos Watson, Representative of the UN Food and Sgriculture Organization in China at the “Understanding China·Greater Bay Area Dialogue.”

The “Understanding China·Greater Bay Area Dialogue” is in full swing in Guangzhou, south China’s Guangdong province, from April 18 to 20, with the theme of Chinese Modernization and New Opportunities for the World. GDToday is one of the media sponsors of this conference.
