A 2,500-passenger luxury ro-ro ship recently berthed at Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Home Port on a trial trip.
The ship, namely Moby luxury ro-ro passenger ship No.1, was built by Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI). It has a gross tonnage of 70,000 tonnes, a draft of 7.2 meters, a length of 237 meters, and a molded breadth of 33 meters.
The Moby ro-ro passenger ship is hailed as a “five-star hotel drifting on the sea” and amazes the world with its 2500-passenger capacity and multiple functionalities to meet recreational and catering needs, including 13 decks, 536 luxury guest rooms, and 4-story garages.
According to the Nansha government, the ship will return to CSSC Guangzhou Longxue Shipbuilding Base in November to complete the preparations before it starts operation.
