"Travel code" service to be officially suspended on December 13

According to the WeChat official account of "Travel Code", starting from December 13, the "travel code" service will be officially suspended on SMS, web pages, WeChat mini program, Alipay mini program, and other APPs.

"Travel code" is a software developed by China Academy of Information and Communications Technology to determine whether there are confirmed COVID-19 cases in and around the places where owners have travelled in the past 14 days based on mobile signals.

On December 11, Guangdong reported 843 new locally transmitted confirmed cases and 1,468 asymptomatic cases.
