Guangdong is expected to experience stable weather patterns during the Chinese New Year holidays (from February 10 to 17), according to the Guangdong Meteorological Service.
From February 10 to 14, the weather will be cloudy with sunny periods, accompanied by a gradual increase in temperatures. A weak cold front is forecasted to arrive in the province from February 15 to 17, bringing light rain and mist.

On February 9, most parts of the province will see scattered light rain and cloudy skies. The low temperatures will range from 2℃ to 6℃ in northern Guangdong and the northern Pearl River Delta, 12℃ to 15℃ in the southern coastal areas, and 7℃ to 11℃ in the remaining areas.
From February 10 to 12, most parts of the province will experience a mix of sun and clouds. The daytime temperatures will gradually rise above 20℃.
Temperatures will continue to warm up from February 13 to 14. Most parts of Guangdong will have cloudy skies with scattered light mist in the morning and evening.
Due to the influence of a weak cold front, the northwest part of the province will be overcast with light rain, while the remaining areas will experience cloudy skies with scattered light rain.
