Innovation and entrepreneurship camp for youth talent from Guangdong and Macao held in Hengqin

The second innovation and entrepreneurship camp for youth talent from Guangdong and Macao was held in the Zhuhai UM Science & Technology Research Institute in the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin from August 3rd to 4th.

Consisting of activities such as team building games, a sharing session delivered by corporate executives, lectures by industry insiders, and a ground tour of the industrial environment in Hengqin, this event attracted 40 students, graduates and entrepreneurial youth from Guangdong and Macao.

In the sharing session, Yao Jincheng, the co-founder of BARSA (The Belt and Road Startup Accelerator), Lei Zhen, founder, chairman and CEO of Zhuhai Nanometals Technology, and Liao Zhijun, founder and CEO of Wisewave Tech shared respectively their own personal entrepreneurial experience with participants.

During the entrepreneurship class, Yang Yimou, a partner of the audit department of PricewaterhouseCoopers, provided practical guidance and suggestions on tax compliance for start-up Internet companies, retailers, Chinese brands, production enterprises and others.

In addition, the participants also visited enterprises such as Zhuhai Branch of BY-HEALTH, and Zhuhai Bojay Electronics Co., Ltd. on site, learning advanced management methods during the tour.

Having been successfully held two times, the innovation and entrepreneurship camp for youth from Guangdong and Macao aims to promote diversified development of Macao's economy and help young people from Guangdong and Macao to understand the industrial policies in Hengqin. Meanwhile, this event attempts to build a platform for communication between young entrepreneurial talents in Hengqin and Macao.
