Lingdingyang Bridge of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link saw its joining recently, signaling that all sections of bridges of this mega project have been linked together.
The total length of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link is 24 kilometres, and it will open to traffic in 2024.
After the completion of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, the travel time from Guangzhou's Nansha District to Zhongshan will be shortened to less than 15 minutes, while the travel time from Guangzhou's Nansha District to Shenzhen will be less than 20 minutes.
