On October 3 alone, Hengqin Port handled more than 103,500 passengers, marking the first time it has seen a daily traffic volume exceeding 100,000 since its opening.

Meanwhile, waterway traffic also experienced a boost. The pleasant weather during the holiday, coupled with Hengqin's blooming flora, encouraged many tourists to explore the island's natural beauty. Major parks and scenic spots like the Flower Corridor, Mangzhou Wetland Park, Tianmu River Rowing Park, and Xiaohengqin Mountain welcomed around 60,000 visitors during the seven-day holiday.

The surge in tourist numbers also stimulated Hengqin's consumer market. Local shopping hubs like Central Street experienced foot traffic growth of nearly 80%, with bustling restaurants and crowded retail stores. Restaurant owners reported long lines and doubled their revenue during the holiday period.
