Guangzhou reports 1 asymptomatic case in Huadu
On January 14, one COVID-19 positive case was found during the routine nucleic acid test for the closed-loop management staff at high-risk posts on international flights.
The case was immediately transferred to the Guangzhou Eighth People’s Hospital for isolation and medical observation.
The staff member, female, 37 years old, is an airline cleaner for international flights. She has lived in a concentrated residence of high-risk personnel for the past 14 days and received closed-loop management throughout the entire process. The individual took one test per day, with previous results all negative.

Shenzhen reports 1 new case
On January 14, Shenzhen reports 1 new confirmed case. As of 17:00 that day, a total of 15 cases were reported in the city’s recent resurgence of COVID-19.
Case 15: Male, 49 years old, an employee with a company in Luohu District, Shenzhen. He lives in Hewei Village, Caopuxi Community, Qingshuihe Street, Luohu District (罗湖区清水河街道草埔西社区鹤围村).
The case is a relative living with Case 5. He was previously isolated as a close contact on January 11 and diagnosed as a confirmed case (mild).
One COVID-19 positive case found in Zhuhai
On January 14, Zhuhai found one COVID-19 positive case among mass nucleic acid testing for its residents, who has been transferred for isolation treatment.
Positive case 1, female, 53 years old, living in Building 2, Rongyuan, Jiangjunshan, Nanping Town (南屏镇将军山榕园2栋).

Zhuhai scheduled mass nucleic acid testing from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on January 14. The Zhuhai COVID-19 Prevention and Control Headquarter today issued the latest notice, urging all residents not to leave Zhuhai and Guangdong unless necessary. Those who do need to leave Zhuhai must present a green Yuekang code and hold negative nucleic acid test certificate within 24 hours.
Zhongshan adds one medium-risk area
Building 41, Phase I, International Flower City, Tanzhou Town (坦洲镇国际花城一期第41栋), has been be adjusted to a medium-risk area.
