A beluga whale named Alice successfully gave birth to a calf after a 16-month pregnancy on the morning of June 29th, at Guangzhou's Grandview Aquarium.
The newborn female, measuring 175 centimeters, is the first beluga naturally bred under artificial conditions in Guangdong this year and the second beluga calf born at Grandview Aquarium within six months.
Belugas have stringent habitat requirements, making their breeding a global challenge. The successive births of two belugas under artificial conditions in such a short span at Grandview Aquarium are truly remarkable.

In addition, the second "Grandview Planet Anime Carnival" will kick off on July 20th and continue until August 31st. Famous domestic and international IPs, including "Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf," will gather at Grandview Mall! The event will feature various anime-themed scenes, ACG parades, IP-themed exhibitions, trendy toy markets, water-based electronic music festivals, anime music festivals, a brand-new underwater show, cross-dimensional stamp collection games, and over a thousand other exciting activities.
