According to Guangdong Meteorological Observatory, a weak cold wave has arrived at Guangdong on January 24, and will bring rain and fog to the most parts of province for the next seven days.
On January 26, it will be cloudy with light rain and fog in Shaoguan, Qingyuan, Pearl River Delta and cities and counties in western Guangdong , while the weather in the rest of the cities and counties within the province will be cloudy to overcast with intermittent light rain and light fog. The lowest temperature in the morning：10-13℃ in northern Guangdong, 5-9 ℃ in high-altitude mountainous areas, 16-19 ℃ in southern Pearl River Delta and western Guangdong, and 13-16 ℃ in other cities and counties.
On January 27, Shaoguan, Qingyuan, cities and counties of the Pearl River Delta will have cloudy day and light rain, some places will even see moderate to heavy rain. Other cities and counties within the province will have cloudy days with light rain and fog. The lowest temperatures in the morning: 11-14 ℃ in the north Guangdong, 17-20 ℃ in southern area of Pearl River Delta and western Guangdong, and 14-17 ℃ in other cities and counties.
Another two waves of cold front are expected to arrive at Guangdong during Jan 28 to 30, and February 3 to 5, bringing light or mild rains.

The weather in Guangzhou is forecast to be cloudy with intermittent mild rains for the next ten days. The lowest temperature on Chinese New Year’s Eve is likely to drop to 7℃.
