To meet the surging travel needs during the Spring Festival travel rush, Zhuhai Airport Urban Rail Transit has resumed its operations in its entirety since January 7. 23 pairs of trains have been utilized, with 22 operating between Zhuhai Chimelong Station and Zhuhai Station and 1 between Chimelong Station and Foshan West Railway Station.
There are three intercity railway stations in Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. The areas which each station is accessible to are as follows:
Hengqin North Station: Hengqin Financial Island. High-rises can be found everywhere with the Hengqin International Financial Center (IFC), the tallest building in Zhuhai and Macao, towering into the sky. Standing on the shore, you can also look out to Zhuhai and Macao and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Hengqin Station: Hengqin Port. Hengqin Station is seamlessly connected to the Hengqin Port. After leaving the station, you can walk to the Hengqin Port Travel Inspection Hall, making trips from and to Macao more convenient. Internet-famous sites are also waiting for you at Legend Ponto Square.
Zhuhai Chimelong Station: Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort. This is a must-visit tourist spot for family trips that offers special shuttle buses during the Spring Festival to take you directly to the resort.
Passengers can buy tickets to the corresponding station according to their destination. For passengers who travel from Hengqin, to and from Zhongshan, Guangzhou, Foshan, and other cities for commuting, business, or travel, they may tune in and take the interline rail C7787 from Foshan West Railway Station to Zhuhai Chimelong Station, and C7798 from Zhuhai Chimelong Station to Foshan West Railway Station.
