Guangzhou Metro will extend the operating hours of Lines 1, 2, 3 (the north extension included), 5, and 7 by one hour on May 3.
Guangzhou Metro also reminds us that passenger traffic increases will be seen at transportation hubs (such as Guangzhou South Railway Station, Guangzhou Railway Station, and Guangzhou East Railway Station), major transfer stations (such as Tiyu Xilu, Zhujiang New Town, Jiahewanggang, Wanshengwei) and stations that are near to tourist attractions, business quarters, and Canton Fair Complex (Canton Tower Station, Gongyuanqian Station, Huangsha Station, Pazhou Station, Xingang East Station).
These stations are expected to implement passenger traffic control, so residents are advised to plan their travel time and routes in advance.
