The 5th World Media Summit officially kicked off in Guangzhou's Nansha District on December 3, 2023, themed "Boosting Global Confidence, Promoting Media Development."
"I think there are a lot of changes happening right now in global journalism and global media. It's a convergence of a number of things," Daniel Donovan, publisher and managing editor, Ottawa Life Magazine, Canada, told GDToday. But the most important point, according to Daniel Donovan, is that "journalism and media is about truth and authenticity".
