Heavy downpours are forecast to continue in most parts of Guangdong from September 7 to 10 under the influence of both typhoon Haikui's circulation and monsoon, according to Guangdong Meteorological Observatory.
On September 8, there will be heavy to torrential rain in Shaoguan, Qingyuan, Yunfu, western Guangdong and central-south Pearl River Delta. The remaining areas will see showers with localized heavy rain.
On September 9 and 10, the southern coastal areas and west Guangdong are likely to experience moderate rain with localized torrential rain. The rest of the province will be cloudy with showers.
