Another 5 international flights to Guangzhou suspended: CAAC

Recently, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) announced the suspension of 5 more international flights to Guangzhou.

Seven passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight 9C8530 from Phnom Penh, Cambodia arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 17th, which led to a two-week suspension for the flight, starting from July 4th, 2022. 

Seven passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ312 from Toronto, Canada arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 18th, which led to a two-week suspension for the flight, starting from July 4th, 2022. 

Six passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight ET606 from Addis Ababa, ,Ethiopia  arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 18th, which led to a two-week suspension for the flight, starting from July 4th, 2022.

Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight BS325 from Dhaka, Bangladesh arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 19th, which led to a two-week suspension for the flight, starting from July 4th, 2022.

Eight passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ3040 from Singapore arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 23rd, which led to a two-week suspension for the flight, starting from July 11th, 2022.

Quota for these above-mentioned flights shall not be used for other routes. CAAC also requires those airlines to provide services, such as passenger comfort, ticket refunds and changes on subsequent flights, in line with the requirement of local embassies or consulates.
