The delightful sunny weather is to be replaced by rain and fog from February 1, according to the Guangdong Meteorological Observatory.
Starting from January 31, the cloud cover will increase, temperatures will continue to warm up, and humidity will rise.
On February 1 and 2, most parts of the province will be overcast with cloudy periods and scattered light rain. Fog is to be seen in the early morning and at night. Morning lows: 9℃ to 12℃ in North Guangdong, 15℃ to 18℃ in the southern coastal areas, and 12℃ to 16℃ everywhere else.

A slight decrease in temperatures is forecast for February 3 and 4. The midwest Pearl River Delta and west Guangdong will see overcast skies with moderate to heavy rain. Light rain is predicted in the remaining areas. Morning lows: 7℃ to 9℃ in North Guangdong, 14℃ to 17℃ in the southern coastal areas, and 10℃ to 14℃ everywhere else.
Residents are advised to dress warmly when going out, according to the temperatures outside.
