Fortune China has officially released the 2024 Fortune Tech 50 list recently, and 12 companies in Shenzhen were selected, including Tencent, ZTE, Digital China, Cloudsky, UBTECH Robotics, Longsys Electronics, Huawei, BYD, Foxconn Industrial Internet, Lens Technology, Sunwoda, and Lions King Group (ranked in no particular order), the first six of which are located in Nanshan District.

Most of the Shenzhen enterprises on the list focus on telecommunications, communications, computer hardware, and high-end manufacturing, such as Tencent and ZTE.
There are also companies from emerging industries on the list, for example, Digital China and Cloudsky, which are dedicated to the digital economy, and Longsys Electronics from the semiconductor sector.

Manufacturing is the foundation of the city's economy. Shenzhen has ranked first in total industrial output and industrial added value of enterprises above designated size for two consecutive years since 2022, with industrial added value increasing by 6.2%. It remains committed to building an advanced manufacturing center that is high-end, intelligent, and sustainable.

The Fortune Tech 50 list aims to identify technology companies from China that are influencing the world. Driven by innovation, these companies continuously invest in research and development and actively expand application scenarios. They have achieved remarkable results in the domestic market, and are even leading global trends, which can be seen in electric vehicles and photovoltaic products.
