Another 2 international flights to Guangzhou suspended: CAAC

On June 28th, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) announced the suspension of 2 more international flights to Guangzhou.

Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight KE865 from Seoul, Korea arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 15th, which led to a two-week suspension for the flight, starting from July 4th, 2022.Seven passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight TK72 from Istanbul, Turkey arriving in Guangzhou, China on June 15th, which led to a two-week suspension for the flight, starting from July 18th, 2022.

Quota for these above-mentioned flights shall not be used for other routes. CAAC also requires those airlines to provide services, such as passenger comfort, ticket refunds and changes on subsequent flights, in line with the requirement of local embassies or consulates.
