Recently, some Chinese embassies abroad released notices to further facilitate the entry to China for holders of valid APEC Business Travel Cards or Study Residence Permits. Long-term international students who want to receive academic education in China can also apply for student visa (X1 visa).

Chinese Embassy in Tanzania
Starting from August 23, long-term foreign students who are heading to China for academic education can submit their X1 visa applications to the Chinese Embassy.
Starting from August 24, foreign nationals holdingvalid APEC business travel cards or valid residence permits for studying are allowed to enter China.
