Guangdong plans to use more than 1 million different pieces of agricultural equipment during the spring plough period, including 200,000 tractors, 14,000 rice transplanters, 230,000 plant protection machines, and 140,000 water-saving irrigation machines.
This is announced on an on-site meeting on Guangdong’s spring agricultural production on February 16.
More than 100 sets of agricultural machines were put into use in farming, including agricultural drones and tractor side-deep fertilizers. Some advanced agricultural technologies such as mechanized tillage, automatic seeding, and seedling greenhouses were also displayed.
Hundreds of Guangdong agricultural machinery companies also jointly launched an initiative, expressing that they will do their best to repair and reserve spring farming machinery, and provide full mechanized services for agricultural production within the province. They also said that they will provide services such as rice processing, brand building and agricultural financial insurance in the future.
