To accelerate the elimination of cervical cancer, Guangdong is set to achieve three major goals by 2030, according to the action plan released by the Health Commission of Guangdong Province on December 13.

By 2030, 90% of girls under the age of 15 will be given the first dose of the HPV vaccine, the cervical cancer screening rate for women aged 35-64 will reach 70%, and the treatment rate for patients diagnosed with cervical cancer and precancerous lesions will reach 90%.
