During the Dragon Boat Festival season, the "Little Dragon Boat Paddlers" at the dragon boat training base in Zhongdongxi Village, Heshan City, Guangdong Province, practice basic movements under the guidance of their fathers.
In the village, children have special mini paddles for training. According to history, Heshan's dragon boat culture has been inherited for nearly 400 years. Children in the village are naturally influenced and develop a keen interest in dragon boat culture.
Daily practice starts with rowing skills, then they get on the dragon boat for further practice, and watch the dragon boat races. There, traditional dragon boat culture is passed on to children by parents and elders.
