From August 8 to 18, travelers departing from Guangzhou Railway Station will be able to enjoy the convenient direct train service to Danxia Mountain. The K9208 train will now make a stop at Danxia Mountain Station, catering to the increased demand during the summer holiday season.

Danxia Mountain is renowned as an ideal summer destination, boasting an average annual temperature of just 19.7°C and a peak monthly average of only 28.3°C, making it feel like a vast natural air-conditioned retreat. In response to this allure, Shaoguan City has launched a promotional ticket package allowing visitors to explore Danxia Mountain and eight other scenic spots for free.
The K9208 train operates between Guangzhou Railway Station and Nanxiong Railway Station and was originally scheduled to run only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to accommodate peak travel times. With the influx of summer tourists, China Railway Guangzhou Group has decided to extend its schedule and add the stop at Danxia Mountain Station.
Danxia Mountain Station will now host four operational trains, including K528/K527 from Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station to Nanjing Railway Station, and K9207/K9208 to Nanxiong Railway Station. Passengers can also benefit from passenger transfer services available at Danxia Mountain Station, providing easy access to both the Danxia Mountain scenic area and Renhua Township.
