Ethnic girl uses skills learned in Guangdong to start e-commerce in hometown

Xiaoyou Pan is an ethnic girl from Sandu, Guizhou Province. Six years ago, she was given an opportunity to study e-commerce skills at Guangdong Lingnan Modern Technician College in Guangzhou.

During her time in school, Xiaoyou also interned in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. Her main responsibilities included purchasing and selling agricultural and sideline products.

These experiences brought about a significant change in Xiaoyou's life. As a result, she made the decision to return to Sandu in 2020 with her partners and contribute to their hometown.

With the support of the Huangpu District government and Sandu Shui Autonomous County, they have now established a company. They utilize rural e-commerce skills to sell local specialties, thereby helping the villagers increase their income and improve their standard of living.
