Warm and humid air from the south will affect Guangdong from March 23 to 25, bringing rising temperatures, light mist, and localized rainstorms, according to the Guangdong Meteorological Service.
According to the forecast, Guangdong is entering the severe convective weather season and should strengthen its defenses against climate-induced disasters.

On March 23, Shaoguan, Qingyuan, and the northern Pearl River Delta will be cloudy to overcast, with thundershowers, localized heavy rain and short-term gales. Other regions will be cloudy with overcast periods and scattered light rain. The lowest temperatures will range from 20℃ to 30℃ in western Guangdong and the western Pearl River Delta, 17℃ to 20℃ in the remaining areas.
On March 24, northern Guangdong will be cloudy to overcast with scattered light rain. Other regions will see cloudy skies with localized light rain. Most of the province will experience light mist. The lowest temperatures will range between 21℃ and 23℃ in western Guangdong and the western Pearl River Delta, 17℃ to 21℃ in the remaining areas.
On March 25, Shaoguan and Qingyuan will turn from overcast skies to thundershowers. Other regions will witness cloudy skies to light rain. There will be light mist in most parts of Guangdong.
