Dianbai promotes culture and tourism in Chengdu and Changsha

From May 14 to 15, the 2025 Dianbai Cultural Tourism Promotion Conference made stops in Chengdu, Sichuan, and Changsha, Hunan, launching a major campaign to attract over 10,000 tourists to visit Dianbai, Maoming.

Tailored for visitors from both regions, the initiative introduced tourist-exclusive train routes, specialized travel itineraries, scenic spot discounts, and other policies to promote Dianbai's tourism offerings.

During the events, Dianbai highlighted premium travel routes, including the Romantic Coastal Journey, Agarwood Cultural Tour, Urban Charms Exploration, Lychee & Hot Spring Retreat, and Marine Culture Voyage. The events also unveiled multiple tourism investment projects, drawing keen interest and negotiations from numerous enterprises.

The Dianbai Tourism Association signed agreements with local travel agencies and hotels in Sichuan and Hunan for tour reservation commitments and lychee procurement. Notably, the event secured intended orders for 160,000 kilograms of lychees and 7,800 tour reservations.

In recent years, Dianbai has leveraged its coastal-mountain landscapes, agarwood culture, lychee orchards, hot springs, and culinary traditions to attract visitors.

During the 2025 May Day holiday, the district received 432,200 visitors (excluding China's No. 1 Beach), generating over 147 million yuan in tourism revenue—marking year-on-year growth of 13.11% and 39.25%, respectively.
