What's the latest COVID control policy for travelers to Guangdong?

What are the requirements for travelers from other provincial-level regions with local epidemics? On July 1, Guangdong issued the latest guide!

*1. Travelers with a travel history to high-risk areas over the past 7 days

7-day centralized isolation, and take nucleic acid testing on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 7th days

*2. Travelers with a travel history to medium-risk areas over the past 7 days

7-day home isolation, and take nucleic acid testing on the 1st, 4th, and 7th days

(If the conditions for home isolation are not available, centralized isolation medical observation shall be adopted.)

*3. Travelers with a travel history to low-risk areas over the past 7 days

Take 2 tests in 3 days, and conduct health monitoring

*4. For those having a travel history to areas with local cases, however, the risk level of which hasn't been designated

The health management measures will be determined after being assessed by the provincial authority.

*5. For close contacts who are notified outside Guangdong

7-day centralized isolation + 3-day home health monitoring will be implemented;

Nucleic acid tests will be carried out on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 7th days during centralized isolation and on the 3rd day during home health monitoring;

Secondary close contacts need to receive 7-day home isolation, and nucleic acid test will be taken on the 1st, 4th, and 7th days.

The health management period starts from the date when the individual leaves his/her original area. When the risk level of that area is adjusted, the health management measures for the personnel under management shall be adjusted on the same day. 

Guangdong's cross-city travelers from high, medium and low risk areas shall refer to the corresponding health management measures in this guide.

2 new local asymptomatic infections reported in Shenzhen

On June 30, Guangdong reported 2 local asymptomatic infections in Shenzhen, both detected during centralized quarantine.

Case 1: Female, 9 years old, living in Dongsanfang, Gangxia Village, Futian Subdistrict, Futian District (福田区福田街道岗厦村东三坊).

Case 2: Female, 43 years old, living in No. 7024, Hongli West Road, Lianhua Subdistrict, Futian District (福田区莲花街道红荔西路7024号).

According to the preliminary epidemiological investigation, the two cases have been isolated and showed no tracks at the community level. They have been transferred to the Emergency Ward Building of the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for isolation and treatment and are now in stable condition.

Guangzhou's Yuexiu dispels rumors about new cases

On June 30, there are rumors saying that Yuexiu has identified a new COVID-19 case on Wende Road on WeChat, TouTiao.com, and other online platforms (The preliminary judgment is that it was fabricated based on the COVID-19 report on April 28). 

Guangzhou reported no new local COVID-19 cases on June 30. The Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission called upon residents to stick to epidemic prevention and control measures and pay close attention to the news posted on official accounts.

Guangzhou CDC: Report if you've been to these places

On June 30, Guangzhou CDC issued a reminder that these people should report to their community/village, employer, and hotel, and cooperate with corresponding health management measures:

Visitors with a travel history to Xinwu District and Xishan District, Wuxi, Jiangsu Province (江苏省无锡市新吴区、锡山区) commencing June 23, and Jiangning District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province (江苏省南京市江宁区) commencing June 27, as well as people with a "red code" or "yellow code".
