Guangdong held a provincial high-quality development meeting on January 28, inviting major government officials and business leaders to share their plans for 2023. Fang Lixu, President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee (CCPIT Guangdong) attended the meeting and released CCPIT Guangdong's plan for high-quality development in 2023.
According to Fang, CCPIT Guangdong plans to promote opening up by rolling out measures in foreign trade, foreign investment, foreign outsourcing, foreign economic cooperation, and overseas talent attraction.
“We will organize more exhibitions online and offline to help enterprises expand overseas markets. Based on our overseas offices, we will attract foreign investment in Guangdong, especially in manufacturing industries, by carrying out research on foreign-funded enterprises and providing service to support their operation,” said Fang.
In terms of foreign outsourcing, CCPIT Guangdong announced to cooperate with overseas industrial and commercial organizations and hold investment promotion conferences for new projects cooperation in the fields of software development, industrial design, and product development outsourcing service.
More overseas offices will be established in countries along the Belt and Road while more overseas warehouses will be constructed in some international logistics hub cities.
