The Zeng State, also called the Sui State, was a vassal state that existed during the Zhou Dynasty (c.11th century-256 BC) and had territory in the area around Suizhou in current Hubei province. There are almost no historical texts on the Zeng State but more and more tombs of marquises have been found and excavated, therefore, it is also honored as a "dug out vassal state".

The bronzes from the Zeng State are known as "the benchmark of bronze culture in southern China". At this exhibition, visitors can see bronze vessels, musical instruments, armaments, and so on, including 29 pieces (sets) of national first-class cultural relics. You can even beat a bronze bell there as well!
