Temps to decline by 6℃-8℃ as cold snap continues

A new cold snap is forecasted to influence Guangdong from February 7 to 9, bringing a drop of 6℃-8℃ in temperature and light to moderate rain, according to the Guangdong Meteorological Observatory.

On February 6, the weather in Qingyuan, Shaoguan, and the western Pearl River Delta will be overcast with light rain. Eastern Guangdong will be cloudy to sunny. Other regions will be overcast to cloudy with localized light rain. Lowest temperature will be 6℃-10℃ in northern Guangdong, 16℃-20℃ in the southern coastal areas, and 11℃-15℃ in the remaining areas.

On February 7, the weather in central and northern Guangdong will be overcast with light to moderate rain and localized heavy rain. Other regions will be overcast with light rain. Lowest temperature will be 4℃-8℃ in northern Guangdong, 14℃-20℃ in western Guangdong and the southern Pearl River Delta areas, and 9℃-13℃ in the remaining areas.

On February 8, the weather in central and southern Guangdong will be overcast with light and localized moderate rain. Other regions will be overcast with scattered light rain. Lowest temperature will be 3℃-8℃ in northern Guangdong and the northern Pearl River Delta, 11℃-16℃ in the southern coastal areas, and 8℃-11℃ in the remaining areas.

On February 9, most parts of the province will see scattered light rain to overcast skies. Lowest temperature will be 3℃-8℃ in northern Guangdong and the northern Pearl River Delta, 11℃-14℃ in the southern coastal areas, and 8℃-11℃ in the remaining areas.
